Don Bosco High School & Junior College, Borivli

16th August 2024, was a special day marked for the staff and the students of Don Bosco High School and Junior College. The campus was abuzz with excitement as it hosted the esteemed visit of Rev. Fr. Savio Silveria, the Provincial. The day was marked by a series of vibrant and engaging events that showcased the school’s rich heritage, academic excellence, and the dedication of its students, faculty, and staff.
The Provincial was warmly welcomed by the school community with a traditional guard of honor. As he entered the hall, the atmosphere was filled with anticipation and reverence. The ceremony commenced with a formal introduction, followed by the lighting of the lamp as a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment.
The young primary students then set the tone for the day with a captivating prayer dance, their graceful movements and infectious enthusiasm captivating the audience. The Pre-Primary students followed suit with a heartwarming welcome song, their innocent voices filling the hall with joy.
Rev. Fr. Manuel Murzello, the Rector of the school, delivered a heartfelt address, expressing his gratitude for the Provincial’s visit and highlighting the school’s achievements and aspirations. A musical tribute by the secondary students further enhanced the festive atmosphere, showcasing their talent and dedication.
The Assistant School Captain took the stage to deliver a thought-provoking address, reflecting on the school’s journey and the positive impact it has had on the lives of its students. The NIOS students and Junior College students then enthralled the audience with their energetic dance performances, demonstrating their creativity and passion.
